Boho Wall Decor: Half Circle

Boho Wall Decor

If you’re looking to make something that is cheap, simple, and cute then you’ve come to the right place!

I was drawn to this craft because I love how easily it can fit with any décor-it’s just a bonus that it also meets the above criteria.

I do want to put out this little warning before we get started. This craft does require a bit of patience-yes this is something I personally experienced with this one.

If you follow my steps though, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice too much.

Whip out your glue guns and let’s get crafting!

Materials

*Hot glue

*Yarn (color of your choosing)

*Metal or wooden circle (in a size of your choosing. The one pictured is medium-sized)

*Scissors

How To Make A Boho Circle For Your Wall

Step 1

Glue one end of your yarn to approximately the middle of the frame edge.

When you bring the yarn down the middle to the opposite side, you want it to cut the circle in half.

Step 2

Glue the yarn to the opposite end.

Bring your yarn down as I mentioned above, so it cuts the circle in half. Then glue it down.

This will keep your line stiff and straight and make sure your piece has a clean line for years to come.

Step 3

Wrap the yarn around the back and up to the top where you began.

Glue it down.

*Tip: try to keep your yarn tight. It doesn’t have to be super tight; you just don’t want there to be any slack in the yarn.

Step 4

Repeat steps 2 and 3.

Continue to wrap your yarn from one end to the other, gluing the ends everytime-this is where your patience will come in.

Gluing the ends every time will assure that the yarn does not fall off the circle, especially when you get closer to completing your half.

Continue to repeat steps 2 and 3 until you’ve wrapped half of your circle.

And Done!
